Vern's Blog Anniversary Giveaway!

Hello loves!

One of my favorite blogs here in the Philippines is giving away a chance to get, not just one outfit but a head to toe ensemble care of the ever so famous retail store: Penshoppe. The blog that I'm talking about is Vern Enciso's A Shoe Tale. If you guys don't know her blog or haven't heard of it before, I strongly suggest that you do check her blog out because she posts interesting events, fashion trends and even her daily look.

So, you might be wondering why do a giveaway? Well, it's her blog's 1st birthday! And you guys might know that maintaining a blog is not easy and the fact that she managed to do posts almost every day is beyond me. So, she's doing a series of giveaways and this is the last and grandest one. I just joined the giveaway and I thought that maybe you guys might like it too. If you're interested on joining the giveaway then go to Vern's blog, A Shoe Tale. Just follow the rules and let's cross our fingers!

Tropical Adventure in Cagayan de Oro | Metrodeal Deal of the Day!

This week, and the past few weeks as a matter of fact, had been horrible to me. I cannot even discuss to you guys how tiring, stressing and irritating these past few weeks had been. I might self-combust and make a mess here in my room if I'd even try. Anyway, I noticed that most of my readers, or the people that gets lost in my blog, loved the post on the Lazer Maxx deal I've made a few months back. So, I decided that I'd give you guys another deal that I've found in Metrodeal.

Internet Connection Resumes

Hello loves!

Our internet connection has finally been fixed after 2 weeks of  no connectivity and hostility (towards PLDT). I can't even explain to you guys the horror that I felt when I found out we didn't have a connection. I also cannot believe that the typhoon Pedring was able to cut our telephone line from the main box. I didn't even know that was possible! Hahaha! It was crazy to not have internet connection for half a month specially when it's thesis time during those weeks. But I did find out some ways on how to survive without the internet. I know, I know. I sound like an internet crazy person, because I am but nevertheless, I just feel like everything has to do with the internet nowadays. It's hard not to get hooked on the net, it has everything!

Some tips on how to survive without the internet, specially when you're a student:
  1. Go to places where there is an internet connection. More or less most establishments nowadays have Wi-Fi which makes students life easier and I believe we should take advantage of that. Go to those trusted cafes like Starbucks and use their Wi-Fi to download important notes, get updated on the activities and what-not. At least, even if you do not have an internet connection at home, you still get updates once in a while.
  2. Read a book. I know, I know. This is a lot of bull to most people but reading books when you have nothing to do is a good thing, I wish that you guys actually read a book for the sake of reading and actually enjoy reading a book. Anyhow, reading your assigned reading and maybbe even doing some further reading on your lessons is also a good way to go.
  3. Get a life. Sorry, I just had to put it here. The internet sucks out the life out of a person. An extrovert can easily become an introvert when the internet has taken their lives. So, what I did when I had no internet connection was to actually go out with my friends, live a little and even just hanging out with my friends. It gives you time to actually have a social life when you are out of your virtual life.
So, there. I'll end it here. I hope you guys are doing well and I'll love to hear from you! Leave a comment, send a message even a question and I'd gladly answer them all for you on my next post and what-not. I'm also excited for the Bloggers Congress that DLSU will be having this Saturday. I'll blog about it later today or tomorrow if I have time.

La Naval

Hello loves!

On Sunday, we will be commemorating the feast of Our Lady of La Naval in Sto. Domingo church. For those of you who do not know who, what or why it is being celebrated by the Catholic followers, then here's a short summary of what you must know.

  • The feast of Our Lady of La Naval is annually done in Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City near Araneta Ave. and Banawe St.
  • The statue of the La Naval would then be paraded along with other saints around the Sto. Domingo-Banawe Area.
It was said the the La Naval is a sacred and miraculous model because it had been answering wishes to many of its followers. I for one do not believe in miracles but I do love going to the feast of Our Lady of La Naval. I may have different motives on why I am going but that is not the case. So, what am I babbling on and on about? I'm inviting you guys to go to the feast of Our Lady of La Naval, if you are in the Philippines, and join me with all other followers and devotees of the feast.

I'll be, I think, joining my friend in a photo walk during the procession and I hope to see you guys there!

**P.S. Lame post. I know. Sorry about that! Hahaha!

Thesis Shit

Hello loves!

I've come back from the dead! Yes! Actually, no. I'll still be in and out of the blogging thing since I still have tremendous amount of work to do. I hate being away from you guys and I actually have tons of things to tell you like the concert, the thesis, the friends and everything of the sorts but I can't. It sucks how time can be so limited. Anyway, I just wanted to do a quick blog to say hi to those who are actually reading this. I'll also upload the mixtape I made for you guys, some other events in my life that are mildly interesting and some looks that I've managed to pull off. Oh! Speaking of looks, I've also made a resolution with myself that I'll actually start prepping myself up and actually making myself look half decent. Hahaha! So watch out for blog posts about that. I'm off now, bye loves!
