July 9, 2010: My 17th Birthday at MOA

So after we left the DFA, we went to Mall of Asia. My mom and step-dad wanted to eat at YakiMix which is a very famous buffet restaurant that has a Yakiniku style. When we got there we were in a waiting list, I think we were 11th? So we just sat there for a while, made chikka with my step-dad’s grade 1 classmate and her daughter Pam.

While we were waiting there was suddenly an announcement that there would be a fireworks display in about 5 minutes. And here are some of the pictures that I took of the magnificent 5 minute fireworks display. :)

And then when the fireworks display ended I said to my family,

“Oh. Tingnan niyo naman. Sinabihan ko kasi yung MOA na andito ako ngayon ang birthday ko kaya nagpa-fireworks pa sila para sa’kin. Hahahaha. :))”

And then exactly at that time, the receptionist said they have our table ready and we can go inside. Err. I think I’ll post the Yakimix part on another post. LOL

July 9, 2010: My 17th Birthday at DFA

I totally forgot to blog what happened to me on my birthday, and I didn’t even let you guys see how I celebrated it. So here it goes!

My day actually started very early! At around 5:30 in the morning, I was already up and about our house preparing my stuff. My mom and I had an appointment in the Department of Foreign Affairs. I was supposed to renew my passport and all. So we left the house at around 6am with my adorable niece named, Gayle ‘cause she was also getting her passport for the first time.

This is Gayle, adorable little thing ain’t she?

So we got there are around 8am and BAM! There was already a long line of applicants. So we waited for a while, a while meaning around 2 freaking hours. Then when we got inside, we had to wait some more. This is one of the things why I sometimes hate the government. They have slow service. So since we got bored and we have a camera, me and my niece did a photo shoot right there at the DFA.

Here are some pics:

I got her picture while she was saying, “isa pa”

Making pa-cute to the camera. XD

In this photo, she’s actually standing on my leg. LOL

This was a pose that I didn’t tell her to do and she did it by herself. LOL. Ang mga pose ng batang ito, MATINDI! :))

Align Center

My niece’s new friend. XD

So, there. That was what happened to me in my birthday at DFA. I spent like a good solid 10 hours there. Wonderful right?! I’m gonna show the pics on what happened AFTER my very fortunate day at the DFA. :D

17 years done, a lot more to come!

Today, I celebrated my pre-17th birthday celebration with my ROTC friends. I really didn’t expect that a good number of them would come. I wasn’t even expecting that some of them would go since they have classes and all. I’m really happy that I got to spend one of my pre-birthday celebration with all my friends.

So here’s a rundown on what happened today:

  1. Woke up in the morning feeling like P. Shitty Diddy
  2. Got to school in a great manner
  3. Had my first class and had a so-so session
  4. Reserved one side of Yellow Cab-Taft for my pre-birthday celebration
  5. Hanged out in DLSU’s Amphitheater
  6. Went to Yellow Cab with some of my friends
  7. Got to see… 8D
  8. More friends came over
  9. Havoc in Yellow Cab
  10. Funny stories
  11. Trina’s itsy-bitsy pinky
  12. 4 boxes of 18 inch pizzas, 5 pieces 1.5 Coke bottles, 1 dozen hot wings
  13. PURE AWESOMENESS!

So, that was my pre-birthday celebration. It was fun. I love my ROTC and Clerical ROTC friends. :D I really wish everyday could be my birthday, but I guess that would lose the purpose of having a birthday. Right? So, how was your day? Did you have a good day? I wanna hear from you!
